Golfdash
In Golfdash, every shot is a puzzle. Rather than traditional golf swings, the game focuses on clever path planning. This arcade-style puzzle game places a small golf ball within compact, maze-like courses, with one clear objective: sink the ball into the hole within a limited number of moves.
Use walls to control the ball
Walls in Golfdash aren’t just obstacles; they are tools to help you control where the ball comes to a stop. A well-calculated shot can send the ball across the course and land exactly where you want it. Additionally, movable blocks add an extra layer of strategy—pushing a block in a certain direction causes it to slide, potentially altering the layout of the course.
Make every move count
Each level has a move limit, tracked by a counter. If you use up too many moves, you’ll have to restart the level. The pixel-art style keeps the course clear, allowing you to focus on angles, stopping points, and the sequence of moves needed to get the ball into the hole.
Controls
- Use the arrow keys or the WASD keys to move the golf ball up, down, left, or right.
Smart shot strategy
- Observe the walls: Determine where the ball will stop before choosing your direction.
- Plan in reverse: Start from the hole and work backward to figure out which spots the ball needs to land on along the way.
- Move blocks strategically: Consider how pushing a block will affect subsequent shots before making your move.
- Conserve your moves: Avoid random experimentation when a level has a strict move limit.
- Replay with a better plan: If your current path becomes impossible, rethink your sequence of steps instead of repeating the same mistakes.
