Capybara Mart
In Capybara Mart, you play as a cheerful capybara running a growing grocery business. Starting small with limited resources, you gradually transform the shop into a much larger supermarket by producing goods, restocking shelves, serving customers, and reinvesting your profits.
A Continuous Business Cycle
Farming Before Selling
Initially, your Capybara Mart relies on a small watermelon patch. Planting and harvesting crops provide the goods to stock your shelves. As customers visit, these goods are purchased, generating the capital needed for the next stage of growth.
Reinvesting Every Penny of Profit
Earnings from sales can be used to expand the supermarket and improve operations. Shelves, products, farming areas, equipment, and other upgrades gradually scale up the business. As the store grows, customer traffic increases, bringing a heavier workload.
Building a Capybara Staff
Assigning Tasks to Staff
Hiring support staff is a key part of Capybara Mart. Different capybaras can take on specific roles, helping to automate daily tasks.
Your staff team can include:
- Cashiers: Manage transactions at the checkout counter.
- Assistants: Help with harvesting and restocking shelves.
- Farmers: Focus specifically on harvesting crops.
- Chefs: Operate food processing machines.
Expand Beyond a Single Store
As you progress, you will eventually be able to scale up beyond your initial supermarket. Once you establish a location and it begins to operate autonomously, you can open new stores in different areas and offer a wider range of products.
