Planet Merge brings a cosmic twist to the familiar matching formula. Instead of dropping fruit, you launch adorable planets into a circular play area and combine identical celestial bodies to create larger ones. The ultimate goal is to continuously evolve your planets and aim to create the Sun.

Build a Solar System, One Merge at a Time

Every launch can alter the entire board, so strategic placement is crucial:

• Planet Evolution: Combine two identical planets to create the next, larger celestial body.
• Cosmic Gravity: Planets move after colliding, meaning they may not stay exactly where they first landed.
• Chain Reactions: A well-placed launch can trigger multiple consecutive merges.
• Ten Planet Types: Progress through a series of increasingly large worlds as your solar system grows.
• Circular Play Area: Manage your expanding collection carefully; if a planet spills outside the boundary, the game ends.

Controls

• Press and hold: Aim the planet you are about to launch
• Move mouse: Adjust position and trajectory
• Release mouse button: Launch

Manage Your Cosmic Planet Pile

In Planet Merge, don't just focus on pairs you can merge immediately. Consider where the new (larger) planet will land and whether it might obstruct future merges. Leaving useful open space around the center can make subsequent placements much easier.

Leverage gravity to your benefit. A planet bouncing off another of the same type can trigger an unexpected chain reaction; Accordingly, an indirect shot is sometimes more effective than a direct one.
