Cubey Volleyball brings a fresh, block-style aesthetic to the arcade volleyball genre, combining Minecraft-inspired visuals with fast-paced 1v1 matches. You control a blocky athlete competing against increasingly tough AI opponents, relying on movement, jumping, timing, and tricky shots to win every rally.

Gameplay: Jump, set, and block

The core gameplay of Cubey Volleyball revolves around 1v1 volleyball. Move across your side of the court and position yourself right under the ball before jumping to return it. Timing your jump is crucial: a well-timed leap can disrupt your opponent's attack, block a shot, or place the ball in a tricky spot that's hard for your opponent to reach.

• A/D: Move left and right
• W/Space: Jump and hit the ball

Two main game modes

• Random Match mode: Offers a quick experience to hone your skills.
• Tournament mode: Takes you through three stages of competition—quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the final.
• Opponents get tougher as you advance, making precise timing more important than ever.

The game features 18 unique characters with vibrant, blocky designs. Winning matches allows you to unlock new characters and outfits, giving you extra motivation to keep coming back to the court. 

Precision Hitting Tactics

• Time your jump: Jump as the ball is approaching rather than reacting too early.
• Observe the opponent: Pay attention to the opponent's position before deciding where to direct your return shot.
• Exploit open space: Aim your shots at areas the opponent cannot reach in time.
• Practice movement: Smooth lateral movement makes positioning easier.
• Tactical blocking: Jump near the net when you anticipate the opponent is about to attack.
