Wave Race

Wave Race is a fast-paced 2D arcade game where a small arrow automatically moves through increasingly difficult geometric courses. Instead of navigating in all directions, players control only the arrow's vertical movement: hold to fly diagonally upward and release to descend. This simple mechanic creates challenging gameplay as obstacles—such as spikes, walls, gears, ramps, and narrow passages—appear in succession.

Tips for smoother flight

The biggest mistake in Wave Race is waiting until an obstacle is right in front of the arrow before reacting. Monitor the approaching gap and begin adjusting your altitude in advance. A quick tap is useful for narrow passages, while holding the button longer results in a greater change in altitude.

Avoid over-adjusting when the path narrows. A slight adjustment may be enough to align with the next opening, whereas holding the button too long could cause the arrow to crash into the ceiling.
